Camp jacking, leveling & new foundations

Tired of jacking and leveling your camp every few years? We lift and level camps all around the Rangeley Lakes — and when it's time, we put a full foundation under it so it stays solid and level.

What we do

Level it — or fix it for good

Camp jacking & leveling

Sagging floors, doors that stick, a camp that's settled out of level? We lift the camp, level it and set it back on solid supports.

A full foundation underneath

Stop re-leveling every few years. We lift the camp, build a full foundation where it sat — insulated concrete forms (ICF) or poured concrete — and set it back down.

Frost walls & new foundations

Frost walls under an existing camp or for a new garage, and ICF foundations for new homes and additions.

Signs your camp needs work

  • Doors and windows that stick or won't latch
  • Floors that slope or feel bouncy
  • New cracks in walls, ceilings or trim
  • A camp sitting on old posts, blocks or rotting sills
  • You've had it re-leveled before — and it's moved again

How a camp lift works

  1. 1We take a look. We come out, see what the camp is sitting on and give you an estimate.
  2. 2Lift & crib. The camp goes up on steel beams and cribbing.
  3. 3Level or build. We level it on new supports — or build a full ICF or poured foundation underneath.
  4. 4Set it down. The camp comes back down, solid and level.

Common questions

Should I just level my camp, or put a foundation under it?

It depends on what the camp is sitting on now and how often it moves. If you've had it re-leveled before, a full foundation usually ends the cycle. We'll look at it and give you both options.

Can you put a foundation under a camp that's already built?

Yes — that's most of what we do. We lift the camp, build an ICF or poured concrete foundation (or frost walls) underneath, and set it back down.

I don't live in Rangeley year round. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Almost all of our clients are second-home owners, and we keep you posted while the work is underway.

When should I call?

As early as you can. Camp jacking and foundation work books up, so calling ahead gives you the best shot at the season you want.

Is your camp out of level?

Call or send us a few details and we'll come take a look.
